The main thing is to really try to experiment, its hard to do sometimes when your doing something that you think works, but when I look at artist work on this site I'm blown away and feel I must try something new to see if it works for me you know. I would also agree that I have a stiffness to my anatomy drawings also, In my next batch I will see if I can keep loose, and we'll see what happens, thanks for viewing. Oki: Thanks Here are some works from a class I took in the fall, it was a crash course to figure drawing, heads and hands and clothed figure because we only spent 4 weeks on each area. Before this course my last figure drawing course was 3 years ago and looking back now my drawings were horrible, lol. In the short amount of time I felt everyone in the class really improved. Some days were good others not so good. I'd have to say the drawings below are the better drawings from the course. although I'm happy with my overall progess, I know I have a ways to go. Thanks for veiwing everyone and feel free to crit I believe all the hands to be 10 and 20 min drawings, a few of the heads were 20mins where the longest were 40min Original of the message was taken from http://www.conceptart.org/forums/ Previous Post: Eek Gads! great stuff, nice improvement. Next Post: Hey, it's good you are trying to do anatomy from memory. |
