Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: Lol, yeah I forgot to mention one more thing; posture. You should also look at your posture, if your posture isn't right, it can also lead to muscle imbalances. A friend of mine, while doing pushups in front of a mirror, noticed he wasn't moving symmatrical/even... His right shoulder wasn't even with his left shoulder, it set a little lower and more forward (not that noticable when just walking, but very noticeable when doing certain exercises). Because his posture in his shoulder wasn't right, he was much stronger in his left shoulder, he got a musle imbalance out of it (sice and strenght imbalance). He went to see a physical therapist, who helped him with it (+ doing the stuff I said above, to even things out again offcourse ). So take a good look in the mirror also, and look at your posture; standing normal/ by posing /by flexing. To see if you have a muscle imbalance (size) or if there is something wrong with your posture. Also by doing exercises in your boxer in front of the mirror, you can see if your moving correctly (think pushups or the barbell curl). Sometimes you see someone doing barbell curls, and the barbell isn't moving straight; this can either mean he has a strenght imbalance or a wrong posture (or both; being in a viscious circle > the wrong posture making the imbalance worse)... So posture is also very important, check if yours is correct, and if not, go to a physical therapist to help you improve it. A good posture is vital if you want to even out your muscle imbalance!!! If you don't do it, it will either occur again or you just won't be able to fix it at all (until you work on your posture that is)!!! Edit; I have never, in my entire life, have used the word posture this much before Original of the message was taken from http://forum.bodybuilding.com/ Previous Post: Sorry, someone has to say it: You don't switch hands when doing t...
