This is what I used to do. Was also reading something the other day like one of Zane's rivals or something..(no not Arnold) Maybe his name was something Mike Mentzer or something...well anyway he liked to pre-exhaust a muscle so would do Leg Extensions for example as a pre-exhaustion then squat.

However in order of importance you would probably place Squats>>>LegE!! So I prefer just to go and squat straight away now providing the muscle is warmed up on bike/run + stretching...and then possibly finish the quad workout on a couple of sets of Leg extn's)

There is no right or wrong answer, just personal preference and what works of course.
