Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: why is it that you feel the need to use an olympic bar to do curls? are you curling 135 lbs or something? do you have 19inch arms? it pisses me off, because why use a 45-lb olympic bar with dime plates on the sides, when right there they have those pre-made barbells with 65lbs. the squat rack is there because with squats you need to put up big numbers, and it would be unsafe without a rack. i dont understand how you could get an injury from bicep curls, because you can just drop the bar in front of you, therefore there is no need for a rack.
