With that close a stance, you probably want to let your knees go forward some, like an olympic squat. Knees behind toes is more of a rule for a wide stance squatter. You don't want that low back rounding in the long term, so you can either work on widening your stance, or work on more of any oly squat style.

Also, how your knees and toes relate at the bottom has a lot to do with your build. If you have long thigh bones it will be real hard to keep your knees behind your toes no matter what your stance. Going over your toes a little bit isn't going to hurt. It's more the extreme where the weight is real far forward on the balls of your feet and your knees are super far out there where you will end up having problems. Keep the weight distributed evenly- you should be able to curl your toes upward while doing a rep and not lose your balance.
