Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: You won't necessarily lose strength but there are several things that will most likely happen. You'll definitely get irritable and generally pissed off. You'll probably get groggy and a little spacey because your body will be in ketosis and the brain doesn't like that state. In order to keep your strength up and possibly progressing, you should make sure to get extra sleep, don't do more lifting than you really need and make sure to eat before you lift and take some caffeine and/or ephedra before you lift. It's certainly a fast way to lose some body fat and it should work fine for you. But everything else about this kind of diet sucks.
