Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: Im with everyone else, this isnt horrible, and with form work you probally will be looking at a big PR in a few monthes... Here are few suggestions(some probally already mentioned)... Stop squatting toward a mirror... I know youve heard it before, but even the slightest change in degree of the head can mess up posture... I used to have the inward knee problem as well, I doubled a mini band and put it around my upper shins... This made me push my knees out constantly, and it has seemed to help.... I would squat off of a box... The box kind of keeps you honest w/ yourself... If you have to drive your knees inward to get off of the box you know have to work on it.... I dont have strong hips, and mine are also very unflexible... However, I still manage to open my hips some... I would work on your hip mobility like you said..... Lastly, pull the bar into your back, it will keep you tight.... Nice work O yea and allow yourself to cut your losses and fix your form... soon enough it will be naturaly and you will be smashing your old PRs Original of the message was taken from http://forum.bodybuilding.com/ Previous Post: The reason your legs fall inwards is because of either glutes not firi... Next Post: You're extending your knees first and then your hips. |
