Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: The 13 mm lever belt i got a couple days ago has plastic around the edges etc to keep it from spliting. No animal's skin is 13 mm thick so it is a few layers of leather glued and stiched together.. Honestly i think it will just be alot less work to just buy a belt.. You gotta drill holes in it, Put a buckle on, stich it together, glue it together, coat the edges etc.. ton of work and just not worth it imo...
