Hi I just had a competition this pas week in alburquerque. It was my first time and now I know my mistakes. I actually started kidn late, you usually need like 4 months of diet and maybe 6 months of working out, if you have enogh muscle, but if you are a begginer that is starting, maybe a 6 or seven moths of bulding muscle and 6 or 5 more months of a good nutrition, if you want to kick asss. I went kind unprepare because I started my diet late, and I regret it so much, I hope this dont happend to u, so focus and dont let anything stop you to become a winner.
