Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: I can't stand it when a competitor wears their glasses on stage... anything that will detract a judge from your physique should be avoided. Don't tell me you can't see without them... what do you have to see? Just walk towards the bright lights and the sounds of the crowd and judges. They're looking at you, you don't have to look at them. It's the same with someone who chews gum while on stage... is that not a distraction? The same for glasses.
