Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: Assuming that you have read ColdNiTe's Epic IRC Guide, you are after an IRC Channel that serves manga that you can greedily get your hands on. Well, lets get you aquainted with #lurk. Everyone's favorite IRC Manga Archive, serving over... alot of manga. Let's find out what exactly #lurk has that makes it so ~grand~ in the first place. Pop over HERE to go to #lurk 's web page. Click on the packlist link on the top to link to the bots. You will notice that there is a search function that is quite handy to use. USE IT IF YOU HAVE A MANGA YOU ARE AFTER ON YOUR MIND. If not, enjoy the rummaging through the bots to find it. Now, click HERE to open up #lurk 's IRC Channel (#lurk @ irc.irchighway.net) so you can start your IRC Manga Collection Venture. You should now see, alot of text on your screen. Now, revert back to the #lurk packlist that has your desired manga. You need to notice 2 things from the manga you desire: The Bot's Name, and The Pack Number. Outlined below in an image: So we are after packet '#2569' from the Bot 'Mirrors' Go back to IRC and type in the line: (Make sure you are typing it in the #lurk channel window) /msg Mirrors xdcc send #2569 The basic command line for any XDCC Packlist send is: /msg <Bot Name> xdcc send #<Packlist Number> Make sure you configured your DCC options correctly. If so, Mirrors should be sending you "Fruits_Basket_v07[HM].zip" There are more channels and other XDCC Bots serving stuff, so look around via Google or whatever and enjoy.
