I imagine the reason is because of your diet, the number of meals you eat per day, and your timing.

Anyway, I can imagine your bodytype blaze. Your just a plain big guy. You're a hulking 275lbs, but you've also got quite a bit of fat on you. I read your goals, and what I got out of them basically is that you want to get fit, but you don't want to get small in the process. This is definitely possible. Its mainly just gonna take a change in diet.

Kk, here it goes.
According to simple bodyweight (lbs) x 15, your maintainance calories are around 4125. Now, you have a lot of fat on you (meaning not all of that weight is lean mass) so lets drop that number down by around 25% (like you said your bodyfat % was). 3100 calories is your actual number of maintainence calories.

Ok, 3100 calories is a solid number of calories, if you can eat like I'm about to recommend, you shouldn't feel too hungry during all this. What I'm trying to recommend here is that you eat just about your maintainence (3100cals) calories every day. Not 500 below as you would to if you wanted to "cut." but right at it. If you can eat healthy, consuming a lot of healthy carbs (50%), tons of protein (30-35%), and a good amount of healthy fats(15-20%), you should lose fat gradually due to all that excercise and training, but keep your energy levels high due to the healthy carbs!

Since you train in the morning, try to put about 25% of your daily calories (775cals) into your breakfast and pre-workout meals. I recommend oatmeal, whole grain cereal (like shredded wheat), whey protein shakes, eggs (mostly whites but some whole), peanut butter. Some mix of those foods, but with an emphasis on the oatmeal and cereal, will give you tons of energy for your workouts. Then for the rest of the day each about 4-5 more moderately sized meals of a little under 500 calories. Also, using protein shakes to supplement your food diet, try to get 1 gram per pound of body weight in protein each day. So around 275grams. This isn't as tough as it sounds. Eat some eggs for breakfast and have a whey shake with every meal. No problem. Lean meats for dinner = tons of protein!

Ok man, good luck. I know I'm making an assumption here by guessing that your diet isn't beautiful already, but if I'm correct and its not, changing it up will make a huge difference!
