Hal, there is a very similar debate going on right now over at Anabolic Minds, that you might want to take a look at. I will search for the thread. Bobo is having it out with people, completely refuting the idea of taking in large (6 scoops of Extend, Excell, etcc..) during workouts, questioning the need for high GI carbs period, and many other relevant issues. The discussion is way over my head, but someone of your caliber could probably add to the discussion. I will PM you the thread.
