that is my thinking as well.

however, Intramuscular Triglycerides (IMTG) can be converted to ATP. based on research, it appears that the rate of ATP production is 100x faster when manufactured from glucose. Thus, it seems logical that glucose is the preferred fuel source for ANAEROBIC exercise. Aerobic exercise is another issue of course.

Another question would be whether or not the use of FFAs and/or IMTG during anaerobic exercise could be upregulated if on a low card diet?
