Whey has BCAAs, but not free-form BCAAs as the ones in BCAA supplements, its just that the protein in your whey is rich in all the Branched Chain Amino Acids, but they are not freeform. Plus, the megadosing of glutamine that you would have to do to get results anywhere close to BCAAs is ridiculously expensive compared to BCAAs.
