Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: Not all of it though. Here's what happened. Deadlift (trap bar): 380 X 7, 330 X 6. CAVEAT - someone said I was rolling my back too much. VERY NOT COOL. This lift is going to be reduced until I master form. One arm rows: 115 X 10 superslow! Then again for 6. Then 95 for 7. I liked that one. Really concentrated on form. Pulldowns: 140 x 10, 140 X 8 Smith Incline press: 300 X 3?!, 275 X 5?, 225 X (who cares; it's 2 frickin 25!!) Failed at Db shoulder presses at 105 again. Two attemps. Only did 95s for 6. STILL SHRUGGIN at 230 X 20; 230 X 20 with the trap bar. Now humiliated with inclines and db presses I felt no motivation to do "ego lifts". No double maxing the sissy machines this time. Yay! Incline db curl (really slow): 25s X 10, 30 X 10. THIS IS A HARD LIFT. DON'T CALL ME A WUSS! Close grip smith bench press (for tris): 135 X 10, 185 X 10. And assorted other stuff for legs and forearms.
