I've been incorporating cardio into my routine. Today I did 35 minutes on the elliptical machine after weights and burned 687 cals. With the usual 90 minutes of weights, I burned 5129 for the day. Can I even eat that much?!

One problem: for 5 minutes my heart rate was in the "red zone" and once hit 185 bpm. I couldn't get it down. Man, last time I clocked in at 185 it was when I had undergone shock from an allergic reaction to chemo!

Now for what went down in the weight room!

Deads: 280 X 10, 280 X 8. Will stay there until I'm really comfortable with form.

Squats: Hell yeah! Squats! I'm roughly 10X more awesome since I started deadlifts, so how much kickassitude would squating give me? I only practiced form today. First the bar. I went as far as I could, broke parallel, though I'm too big for "ass to grass". Then 135. Then I did 185 just to feel what it felt like to go all the way down with something resembling resistence.
That's the form when I'm squating 600 someday. Oh, one more thing - IT WASN'T IN THE SMITH MACHINE!!!

Db row: 115 X 10, 115 X 7, 105 X 7. Again, really slow and deep.

Db incline press: 95s X 17. Tried 125s but that was no go so I held them up in some kind of isometric exercise for about a minute.

One sided butterflies: 200 X 9 with 30 second reps, then 200 X 20 with regular reps. Staff wouldn't let me add weight to the stack that time But still an awesome burn!

Shrugs: 280 X 20, 280 X 15

And assorted other stuff but no arm work. They already hurt like a m/f
