Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: Everyone, thanks for your support. Even more thanks for the great advice! Anyway, I worked out yesterday. It was pretty good. I was stronger at some lifts (yay!). So here goes: Deadlift: 350 X 7, 280 X 8, attempt and fail at 400. Saw stars! One arm row: 115 X 8, 115 X 6, 115 X 5. Stagnation at this lift is due to improving form, not wussiness! Incline Db bench press: 115s X 11 (new high), 95s X 8, etc. The maximum db's at my gym is 135s. I should be using those in less than a month CAN WE MAKE BUTTERFLIES AN OLYMPIC LIFT, PLEASE?! One sided butterflies: 310 X 8 (new high, for me and the machine ), 235 X 8, 200 X 10. Shrugs: 280 X 20, 330 X 10 Alternating incline bicep curls: 45s X 8, 40s X 5, 30s X 10 One arm tricep extensions: 150 X 15, 150 X 10, etc. etc. And other stuff...
