Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: That is a good question. You want to know, "Well if I eat these 100g's worth of carbs, how many am I actually going to use or put to use during my workout?". I have had the same question in the past, but never asked or researched. I do not have an answer, but if you ARE bulking and looking to put on serious size, mass, or weight, there shouldn't be a reason for you to worry to much about over doing your carbs pre work out or around your work out, simply because they excess will be stored as fat, mass, or size, which is what you want in a bulk right? Those are my thoughts, sorry I do not have an answer. If it were me..... I would spread all the macros around. Even if you are bulking, you could have about 50 grams of carbs pre work out, a small amount during, ( I don't know much about DURING workout nutrition), and then the remainder of your carbs for your post work out, or in a meal some time after your work out. I would go about it that way so you don't over load, and you won't have to worry about being full of food during your workout.
