i have highly defined abs and obliques. The only ab exercises i do are different leg variations of crunches, cable crunches and medicine ball crunches. Abs are not obained in a couple weeks it takes monthes of tireless work to reach a great set of abs. Yes dieting is very important to get your bodyfat % down but if you dont put in the hours of work on your abs you will only have decent abs at best. Also another thing that helps my abs look great is i flex my abs for as long as i can throughout the day. Im walking around campus im flexing, im sitting in class im flexing. It makes them look more defined when your not flexing. My little two cents.
