Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: Rachman, Stores items never appeared in search results above or alongside auction or limited time fised price listings. Earlier this year, Stores items were included in search results below the "core listings" of auction and limited duration fixed price items. Always store items would appear in search results if the number of items in the core listings was small, 30 items or fewer. In the near future Stores items will again appear below limited duration fixed price listings when the user indicates they want to see Buy It Now items (Store items are always Buy It Now). Searches with less than 30 resulsts will continue to show Stores items below any auction or limited time fixed price listings. On Ebay Express, Stores Buy It Now items will be listed below limited duration fixed price listings in the near future. (I don't care about this because few of my items qualify for Express.) The change means to me that, for potential buyers wanting to Buy It Now, Stores Items will be easier to find. Ebayers looking for auctions to bid on will not be confused with seeing Stores items. I for one am pleased with the opportunity this offers for more sales in return for a very small fee increase. By itself, this change is IMO no reason to close an Ebay Store.
