Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: Hi vio, okay now to get back to your question. All of the mentioned malls are good depending on what you sell. Otherwise they would have gone by the wayside by now. So I guess the first thing we need to know is what do you or are you intending to sell? I have been on a few of the malls and made money on them, but I like the idea of having my own shops and doing my own thing. Doesn't always work, but that's me. When I was on R/L I made a lot of sales, but there was owner friction and the expenses and other little things started to bug me, the exclusive shop deal, extra expense for advertising a zillion rules and regulations plus other factors that have been mentioned around the forums. Was on Tias also for a year or so but at that time the site was pretty slow, the site itself not sales. But I hear that has improved. But I wasn't happy with the commisions. Again I liked having my own setup. As far as CA, Troc, JM, I can't say anything more than what I've read here on the forums. The expenses at Tias and R/L were digging into the bottom line, which I play sort of tight because I rather sell to the dealers. Even now my prices are adjustable to dealers, just gotta twist my arm a bit. Also I like to sell lot's of lower priced collectibles which is tough when the expenses, commissions etc. won't let you.
