Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: After posting my emotional reaction to the description of BidVille's community/business culture above, I decided to visit the site and see what was up. It is extremely slow, about as bad as TIAS at its worst. (Disclosure: I am using high speed cable) I got error messages (unable to complete your request, try again later) when trying to view items. Remember, this is a site with a very small number of items. The site designers don't know what antiquities means and what those items are. There are very few items under vintage beads ( my personal speciality when not a dealer ) and I saw new (less than 10 years old) stuff being passed off as vintage. Bad. So: it's slow, it's spammed, its designers have a poor knowledge base for what will be sold on the site. No. Just...no.
