Maybe the software handles visitors differently than customers? Maybe something is doing a lot of click counting, for all those contests and stuff? I dunno.... Understood that all sites experience performance issues, even tiny ones like BidVille. If the error msg and slowness were all of the problems on BV, they could be dismissed as the site having a bad day. But the goofy categories are unprofessional, as are the unproofread informational pages, and faux safety verification program. And, yes, I am aware that my standards are very different than those held by most posters here on Auction Bytes. IMO a group hug is sometimes just a warm and friendly gesture, but sometimes it's mis-direction away from a con job.
