Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: As a relatively new Ebay store owner I can tell you if I knew how difficult it would be I might not have started. Ebay Stores are not user friendly and require a very steep learning curve. I came in just when Ebay started fazing out the inhouse search and was able to get a couple of sales before that ended. Since then I have had one or two sales and the prospect of increased fees and more difficulty in getting traffic to the store venue makes it less likely that I will stay. I personally found it difficult and time consuming to list items on the Ebay store compared to my other fixed price venues. Perhaps if someone is very familiar with Ebay auctions it would be easier but I have not done much with the auction format and found it to be very complicated. I actually needed a lot of help from the good folks on this forum to just be able to open the site! (Thank you!) I still have not made a final decision about leaving but if I were in your position I would wait for a while until things settle a bit.
