SEVEN SAMURAI was released in 1955. And I should think both YOJIMBO & SEVEN SAMURAI deserve a 10/10, Deckard.

By the way, D, that sounds like a good plan to take over the movie world, but you will never get out of debt by becoming a film journalist. Journalists are paid very poorly (I know because I am one) -- you have to have a sideline. I analyze book properties for film studios (you know -- what book might possibly make a good movie?) and write for the occasional sitcom and Asian newspaper. Basically, I never stop writing, and it is sometimes very tiresome. What I would recommend for you, Deckard, is to break into advertising & possibly making commercials. In this way, you can make little "mini movies" which will have a worldwide audience.

Oh yeah, latest classic I saw is RICHARD III with Laurence Olivier. Just wanted to brush up on Shakespeare, start quoting him now. Brush up on Shakespeare. And the women you will wow.

Previous Post: I have a 3 phase/10 year plan to take over the world of cinema.

Next Post: I guess that's not the same version as Kenneth Brannagh? That was good...
