David Lynch woke up one day and wrote something down in a notebook, because occasionally, he wishes he could make porn films (blue velvet, ****ed up but still very erotic) and sometimes he wants to make great films like Dune and the elephant man. Theres so many better ways of doing it. Its stupid and has no plot, basically it was made to pis us off, no one went out of that movie and was like YES IT WAS GREAT! everyone said WTF!!!!!
