Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: Yeah, it's fine. I think everyone was buying the tria pens...I didn't actually get one cuz the art supplies in Canada are f'ing expensive compared to here...but it's a clear plastic pen with a black tip, you unscrew it and pour water into it. I'm pretty sure you can go back to inks, but I'm not familiar with it. PM SirGreenSock, he's the one I saw doing it first. Basically you can carry around a little pan of water media (hell you could even just buy one of those crayola dry watercolor sets) and dip your brush pen into it...NO MESS!!!! It's great. Personally I'm not good at watercolors so I'm going to try this with watercolor pencils. I saw dirty_c doing this in his sketchbook. Oh, and....beer can always be used the same way...i'll post the pic of dirty_c's beer mech painting in my sketchbook ^^ Original of the message was taken from http://www.conceptart.org/forums/ Previous Post: Would you be able to go back to inks if you chose to or would it mess ... Next Post: haha thats SOOOOOOO 2000 nowadays we dont use pens or brushes. |
