Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: Sorry to hear about your problems. I had one bad experience with .rif files. There was no crash or anything. I just reopened the file again to work on it and all the colors were purple and streaks all over it. I switched over to saving in .psd format and haven't had too much troubles. I saw at the workshop Black Frog saved all his stuff as .tif files. My system is sooo unstable (I'm too lazy to reformat) so I save often and save in multiple versions. I have at least three versions of a piece going and just overwriting the files as I go until I'm done. Then I delete all the temp files. I hope you can salvage something out of it.
