Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: Honestly, I don't see how this can be an issue of debate. It has already been made clear that Itachi is far beyond Orochimaru. Orochimaru has said himself that he cannot defeat Itachi, that's cannot, as in all but impossible. He is actually afraid of Itachi, not a small feat considering who he is. Now considering that he was willing to take on both Tsunade and Jiraiya without the use of his arms makes a pretty clear statement as to who is superior. Granted Tsunade had been weakened but Orochimaru obviously wasn't nearly in top form. This considered, Itachi is without a doubt superior to Tsunade. Orochimaru is an intelligent individual, he's also not exactly humble or easily scared he wouldn't be so quick to admit his inferriority to Itachi if it he weren't certain that it was true. The only way I could see Tsunade being able to win out over Itachi is if she where able to avoid being caught by his Sharingan and get him to use up his energy. Tsunade would basically have to luck out big time. Lets face it Orochimaru is desperate for the Sharingan he wouldn't have just walked away if he felt there was even a chance of him being able to take down Itachi.
