Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: After soo many times of reading dizzcity's posts recommending Adachi's works, I finally picked up Rough I'm so in love with Adachi right now. I've only read Rough, but I'm definitely reading the rest. Scanlations are complete with 12 volumes, detailing a story of a the son and daughter of two competing bakeries. The son, Keisuke Yamato, is a top freestyle swimmer and the daughter, Ami Nimoniya, is a top diver. Adachi skillfully weaves together sports and a believable romance, so its not just a sappy story of a heroine falling in love with a guy for no apparent reason Yeah, I'm totally obsessed, can you tell?
