well I'll help out since this is beging stuff. This will be rough, as I've never really done a tutorial before, so if you have any questions or anything ask away


Okay what your going to do is take an image of the person you want and have them holding something already in the direction you want them. (Like in the first one I've uploaded, it is an edited picture of my friend coughing, but not for long.)
Next you take the image you want and in a new layer and then erase the parts of the handle so that it appears it is in the person's hand. (like in the second picture, it looks like the blunt is actually resting in his hand.

In the last picture I added smoke for effect and such, which is a whole nother thing. If you are using photoshop it is best to mess around alot. try everything out, and go online and practice a tutorial or two and then use it in your own way.
