Posted at December 31, 1969, 6:00 pm: the 104 has cv inputs for delay time (this is INSANELY FUN), feedback (cool also, not as dramatic an effect but versitile), and mix (wet/dry automation). with the 105 and a 104 you can get some really amazing sounds. if you slow down the rate a little bit on the murf and keep the delay time low on the 104; with the 102 you add cv functionality (as it has lfo out and the ring mod osc out), and the opportunity for some frightening sound effects. what i really dig most about the 104 though is that it's a really hushed-down delay, really great in the sense of a delay you might hear in nature, e.g., a cave echo. with a low delay time and a healthy feedback setting you can even coax a pretty interesting REVERB sound out of it. modulating this effect with the CP-251's smooth-step S&H keeps it random enough to sound real. seriously, i was afraid of the cost at first too, but this ain't no deluxe memory man...it's way cooler. moog has a way of imparting their personality on everything in a very positive way, and the 104z/SD is no different!www.ctrlshft.com www.myspace.com/ctrlshft http://acidbathlove.livejournal.com/ Original of the message was taken from http://www.moogmusic.com/forum/ Parent Post: thanks for the replies guys, i hate to sound noobish, but: can yo...
