over the summer break i worked out 4 days a week at my school we did hypertrophy supposivly, i dont think my coach really knew what he was doing. Some days were intense and some days were nothing but after 2 months my max on bench has gone up only 10 pounds which that is the part of my body im trying to get stronger in. And we worked out pretty much every muscle, i took whey mixed with glutamine after every workout, although sometimes i couldnt get 160 grams of protein , sometimes it took 2 days to get close to 160 grams of protein, but the others i got up there, anyways i was wanting to know whats a average increase in strength over 2 months, does not having enough protein really hurt muscle growth and do i need to take whey protein eveyday while working out?
