When I get up and have my first meal I can only stomach down oatmeal and nothing else really, so protein is pretty limited in my first meal but I take in 1 gram of protein per lb maybe 15-50 grams more depending on the day. I know its optimal to get in protein/carbs first thing but I cant really see the negative effects of just eating carbs first thing.
