This item is being tracked in My eBay

Does anyone know if this statement, shown on an item page, is really true? Or does it show up whenever a seller logs into their My eBay and looks at his/her own auctions? Just curious because I've noticed it showing up on every item page.. . . visit our continual online yard sales ... ... click here!
