I've noticed there are a number of companies which offer dropshipping services.

You advertize & sell one of their items - on ebay or another auction or your own website...

You collect payment from your customer - then log on to the Dropshipper's website, order the product and have it shipped direct to your customer.

You've made a sale and shipped the product without ever handling, warehousing, packing or shipping the product.

Sounds like a great way to go but is anyone actually doing that Successfully, CONSISTENTLY and making a decent profit?
