Have found what works for me is to give the shipping for zone 8 in my listing, which being in Calif, sort of is a fact..
But in all my headings I list my zip code in my location.
I also put a claimer at the bottom of my listings that the shipping is an approximate quote and once I have the zip code can give a better shipping costs possibly...again my zip code so they can go look themselves if they like.
Have used some odd ball things to pack in the boxes thanks to hints givien on the Bidville forum site.
Several that work is to save all styfoam meat containers, of course wash good and they make good buffers for the items.
Egg cartons, paper towel rolls. Little boxes your bath soap comes in.
Balloons blown up, shredded newspaper, of course peanuts.
Plastic milk bottles for keeping breakables sort of doubled packed.
Even coffee cans for shipping.
My husband has managed to get me tons of packing materials, thanks to his BUYING on line, so I seem to get a lot of peanuts that way and those new blow up packs are very nice too.
I've lost track of every one of the items but boy can the mind see things that are going into the trash in a different way,now.
The Bidville gang came up with some good ones.
