On a one rep max, why dont all the muscle fibers get recruited on this set? What causes someone to hit failure with this weight if its not because all the muscle fibers have been fatigued? The way I see it is a muscle keeps working until all the muscle fibers are fatigued, so why is a one rep max any different?
