Guys I need help! I have two trainers (I think this is my 1st problem), one wants me to squat wide the other narrow. What are the advantages/disadvantages of the narrow and wide stance. Which stance will allow me to add more weight? (My quads are much stronger than my hamstrings) Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

First, you have identified a weakness-your posterior chain-work on it.

If you want to put up big squat numbers I would go wide.

I added 50 lbs almost immediately by switching to a wide stance.

personally, slightly wider than hip width is ideal for me

all depends on where ur strength is, if u have strong quads, go close,...
