The other night I was lifting and sucessfully hit a 290 on bench. It was touch and go with relatively good arch. I am 165lbs, 5'8", and 15 years old as of March. My previous attempt at maxing i couldnt even do 275 without a little tap from the spotter. This time though, i warmed up, did 205x3 225x5 245x1 275x1 280x1 and 290x1, withh no assistance besides on the liftoff. Can somone help me with techniques to push it to 315? I am currently doing a 5x5.
