So I've always heard about the groove on your back where the bar is optimally placed for powerlifting styles squats and I was looking in the mirror and trying to figure out where that was (yeah I've been PL'ing for at least 3 months and still havent figured it out not matter how many articles I've read/vids I've watched).

I've been kinda putting it on the middle of the upper section of my traps (where it makes the <> looking at it from the back). Is the grove right below that where if you stand sideways and shrug your shoulders and look in the mirror it forms a little well ... groove in your back? Is this THE groove to use for squatting?

I appreciate the help even though it sounds kinda like a dumb question to me. Just wanna make sure cause I think if I switch to the new position I wont be gm'ing the bar as much on my squats.
