my training cycle is gonna' be ending this upcoming week and I was thinking of switching it up and using the Westside Barbell method, I just gotta' convince my workout partner to ditch the 10wk periodization program we just went through.

how has this program worked for any of you guys that use or have used it?

I've been reading WSB articles for the past hour..

so I was thinking something like

1 ME day for SQ and DL
max effort exercise like good morning, box squat, or deadlift alternated every 1-3 weeks

1 exercise to address weaknesses (??, don't really know how to accurately determine my weaknesses)

some reverse hyper extensions (not positive what these are)

some abs (not positive what exercises are optimal)

1 ME day for bench-

max effort exercise-floor press(?), JM press(?), CGBP, etc

1-2 tricep exercises including an extension

1 deltoid exercise, could be military or DB press but should be primarily for rear delts (exercises?)

reverse hypers and abs (optional)

then two DE days, one for SQ and DL and one for bench


I'm unsure of how to structure these, I'm also unsure of the rep ranges to use on the accessory lifts, anyway, any advice?
