I've read randomly on the forums that you need to take 18 times of your weight as calories. Is that right?

For example, my weight is 74 kgs (162.8 kgs) so that means I need to take in 2930.4 calories and if I don't see any gain then I should add 300 calories each week?

Plus, any information regarding talk about a maintainence and cutting diet would also be appreciated. For example, I've seen people talk about how much a maintainence diet they should have. What does that mean?
