Well, my dentist decided that it was time for all 4 wisdom teeth to come out, as one of them has started impacting the jaw line and formed a small infection. I've already come to term with the fact that I probably won't be doing much weight lifting in the next week or two and am willing to let that go as rest time. My real problem is going to be nutrition, especially at the start off. I've been advised that for at least 48 hours I need to be on a 'cool and soft' diet, but I don't wanna spend the next 48 hours to a week eating ice cream, apple sauce and jello. Does anyone have any suggestions for healthy, high protein, and most importantly edible foods? Keep in mind I'm not allowed to use a straw because of the suction and my jaw can only open an inch or two at most. I'm thinking alot of protein shakes but again, that can't be all I eat. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
