Today's AuctionBytes had a story about Wiley Publishing suing a student named Carlos.

Apparently Carlos tried selling some books(?) on eBay and was accused of piracy.

What I'm not clear on here is exactly what he was selling.

Judging from the titles, the items sounded like books, i.e.
AutoCAD 2005 for Dummies and eBay Bargain Shopping For Dummies.

My question is the following: Is Wiley Publishing claiming that we are not allowed to sell used books or perhaps not used books with CD-ROMs...???

I thought one was allowed to sell "original" books, software, etc., as long as they are not "pirated" copies.
