Bryan Singer mus be one of the best directors out there to make a crappy character like Superman work so well in such a good film. honestly i think that the guy that played Superman (Brandon Routh) was so thin and weird it wouldnt work but somehow Bryan did it. not only is the script awesome and Kevin Spacey the most kick ass bad-guy since i dunno when but it has a NOOB doing an EXCELLENT job playing the single GAYEST bastard superhero EVER!!! even if you hate superman (like me) and you wish he would die, go see this movie just because of Lex and the screaming fanboys that will swear up and down that Lois's sickly 5 year old son is Superboy or something... since in the movie Superman left FIVE years ago ... HMMMMMMM!!!!

i had the pleasure of watching it last night at 10 when it premiered in NYC and it was the best three hours ive had in a long time. Sure it earned 4 stars from The Daily News in the same way King Kong did (by being a pseudo remake of a near perfect classic) it doesnt ever come off as cheesy or lame but is actually pretty funny. never mind this Superman is unrealisticly strong (even by Superman standards hes a little too strong) ... i mean kinda like strong when say... lois died in the comic book and Superman flew around the world so fast he reversed Earths spin somehow reversing time to back when he could save her from death kind of strong.... yeah.

go watch it. now. it actually DOES'NT suck!
