Hey everyone. Here is a little background on myself:

6'1, 220lbs, just graduated from an extended stay at college (5.5 years) where I ate like hell, drank my ass off, and packed on a good amount of fat. I graduated high school in 2000 at about 180lbs. I have recently moved away from the college life, gotten engaged, and started my job about 3 months ago, and this past week joined up at Golds GYM (my apt. GYM sucks to say the least). I had arthroscopic shoulder surgery in mid-May of this year and am currently in rehab 2x a week for it. My wedding is in June and my honeymoon soon after in Hawaii and needless to say, this guy doesn't wanna like like a fat ass on the beach with my wife who looks like a swimsuit model. I have always held fat where most do, love handles, stomach area and chest (yes, the dreaded man boobs). I wear a 38 in dress pants right now, 36 in jeans.

I am constantly busy in my office, so eating these elaborate meals you all take in each day is just out of the question. While I make decent money I am also trying to save for the honeymoon and paying off stupid CC debt from college, not to mention the wife to be's engagement ring so exhausting all my money on tons of food isn't really an option right now either.

What I'm coming to you all for is a easy, quick meal plan that will keep my metoblism going throughout the day that won't break the bank and will help me melt this fat away. I have stocked up on the basics (eggs, chicken, protien powder) and I f'n HATE cottage cheese, so don't try. I am also wondering the best workout route right now for the next four months until I can lift again (cannot lift until 6 months post surgery, and couldn't do much right now if I wanted to do to minimal range of motion). I get shin splints from a treadmill so running on one of those for an extended period of time is out of the question. I currently do a alternating up and down hill course on the eliptical for about 40 minutes 5 days a week, what else should I be doing? I would like to incorporate some other cardio type things that can be done in a GYM besides just doing a eliptical and going home.

Most people get lazy when they get married, I'm not one of those guys. I want to look good when we go to our honeymoon and I want to look good for myself. I look damn good with my shirt on, but shirt off in a swim suit, it's another story . I've been wanting to get in shape for a while now, but all the partying and Wendy's always stood in my way. Now is my time, and I need your help here.

I'm open to all opinions and information.

Thanks everyone!
