It seems like todays society is all about a dollar....Hell, everyone loves money, but seriously, you only live once, i prefer not to be a slave to the dollar bill
I live for the pump you get in the gym, right before and after a huge new personal best.....Pushin weight you worked so hard to move, not only in the kitchen in everyday life, but countless hours grinding it out in the weightroom...The pump I get in the gym is better then any high any narcotic can give, and ive done it all...
I live for landing a largemouth bass out in nature on a huge lake
I live for that 300 yard drive down the middle, or that 150 yard approach shot you stick right next to the pin
I live for my friends, the good and the bad times, that I will look back on when im old and wrinkley..
I live to see Albert Pujols battle a 98 mile hour fastball, and put it 500 feet over the fence....
I live for the thrill of a win, bluffing out an oponent for a huge pot, or slow playing a monster on the poker table....
I live for that connection you get with the opposite sex, aka, love...
I live to make my parents proud, not always doing exactly what they would want me to do, but making myself happy and contributing to society....
You only live once, and while a brand new car, or a new set of golf clubs is lovely, money only gives me so much happiness...But it doesnt give me the kinda joy I get when i make a great play at shortstop in the friday night softball leuge, to save a run against the rival team in the luege, or a home run deep to left, that shows all my hard work in the gym and the kitchen.....
