Does anybody know if the MF101 Low Pass Filter's ENV OUT jack fuctions as a gate/trig to trigger the envelope on other synths with such inputs?

If anyone has this type of set-up (MF101 + Synth with gate or trig in) and could try it out, I'd love to know.

I've thought about replacing my MS20, but I really like triggering it with ext. audio signals, and can't do this with any of my other synths. But, if the MF101's ENV OUT will trigger the VCA of another synth, this would be a good alternative.

Although the synth, of course, wouldn't follow the pitch of the ext signal (from the 101), I'm hoping it will at least open the VCA and play whatever note I happen to have last played from the synth keyboard.

Anybody?

I'm sure it's supposed to be the envelope follower output otherwise it...
